Today, a few of us children decided to get out and enjoy the perfect weather that God has given to us over the past few days.
v
We pulled out the bikes and the roller blades and hit the road full speed! Well, as fast as you can go while dodging cracks and weeds in the road! :o)

I am blessed to have such wonderful sisters! Liz and I often bounce ideas off of each other while we do an activity, such as rollerblading, and I have come to really enjoy our times of conversation and fun!

A great example of the difficulties of an old concrete road!

Luke, popping his famous "two inch wheely"! :o)

Emily joined in the exercise as well!

Did you know that you can fly if you flap your arms hard enough? :o)

A group shot of me and my buddies!

Great pictures Jack...I really like the lighting and the angles for alot of those. And of course terrific captions as usual... :)

Interesting you would be out skating and biking because that's exactly what my younger siblings have been doing almost every spare moment for the past several days as well.

Looks like fun! Aren't those "roads" awesome?? We used to live on a road like that and you were really, really lucky if you saw five cars go by all day! ;)

David,

Actually, most of those pictures have to go to the credit of my little sis, Emily! She did a great job handling my camera! I guess she would rather take the pictures than try to do 180's on rollerblades! :oP

Abigail,

It is especially evident of the great place that we are located with the 65-75 degree weather we are having! Praise the Lord!

Anna,

Yes, I like the character of the roads, but in reality, I wouldn't mind a bit if they black-topped it!

But as far as the traffic...all those nasty bumps make a great stopping action on cars that are going too fast for safety for the little kids in our family. They either slow down, or don't come on the road at all! (except the big grain trucks at harvest time, they scare my mom when they come roaring down the road at top speed!)
