Happy 11th Birthday sweet Mindy!

A few weeks ago we were able to go to the Nymeyer's and meet some new friends... The Sikmas!

It was wonderful... we hope you had as much fun as we did!

Our road...just another road? To some it may be just a bumpy road with grass down the middle, 

to others, it might look like a 'sidewalk.' 

"The Old Slab Road" is what people in town call it.

But, to me, it's more than that...

To me, it's "Our Road."

Sure, it has bumps, and yes, every once in awhile, we have to mow the strip of grass in the 

middle of it, but it's PERFECT for a lot of things.

I learned how to ride a bike on that road...rollerbladed and skipped down that road; played as a 

little girl on that road; had incredible talks ~ whether with family, friends, the love of my life, or 

with one amazing God, on that road.

Walked down that road too many times to count. Lived on that road for almost my entire 

life...and now, everything is changing.

They're tearing up that road and putting in gravel; and I will be moving this year.

Oh, sure, I am looking forward to my new road that I'll be living on, making memories there with 

my future husband and family, but I'll always have memories of, "Our Road."

Talkative, funny, sweet, helpful, out-going, beautiful, energetic, honest, caring. 

All these words and many more describe Molly.

So privileged to be able to call him my brother!

Always thoughtful of little kids, enjoys working in afternoon Sunday school, 

loves that he shares his Birthday month with Molly and Mindy, and now his niece Abbie too! We love you and pray that God would use you in a wonderful way! Happy Birthday to my handsome brother!

Mindy Got Glasses!

 Mom found out Mindy was having trouble reading, especially small print, so while we were in Iowa Mom took her to the optometrist, and they found that she needed permanent glasses. Mindy Loves them! :)

Visit to Iowa!

 A few weeks ago we were able to visit Grandpa and Grandma Eddy in Iowa, while there, we got to see many of our relatives that live in the area!

Thank you to Grandma and Grandpa for letting us interrupt your peace and quiet for a week! :)

The little guys loved going to Turtle Park...

 And guess who got to be the Babysitter? (for some reason everyone thought I was experienced in taking care of younger kids) ;)

 It was nice to just be able to sit back and relax. (lower left corner is cousin Dustin Hannahs, and lower middle is 2nd cousin Haddon "Charlie" Jessup) 

 Brooke (cousin) brought over her puppy, Tex. The boys really enjoyed it!

We were able to get together with some friends last Friday. Thank you so much for meeting up with us, we greatly enjoyed the good fellowship!
