I recently had tho opportunity to shoot my first wedding. Although it was last minute because the first photographer wasn't able to make it, and I didn't have all the proper equipment, the Lord blessed and a kind lady in our church offered to let me use her Canon XTi for the entire day!
v
Overall it was fun, and with a few extra pieces of equipment, I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Waiting...waiting...

I think that this is the largest train I have ever seen on a wedding dress!

Liz grabbed some snapshots with my camera...

The whole wedding party...

Little kids just aren't built for these long drawn out ceremonies :o)

50
-
Do you see this young man? Hard to believe our Dad is 50, isn't it? The kids put up construction paper posters everywhere to announce the occasion and we enjoyed a celebration yesterday evening.
-
We don't often post about Dad on here, but be assured that we think he is the greatest Dad in the whole world and love him to pieces!
-
Happy 50th Birthday, Dad!!! May God continue to bless your life in the coming year.

Here's the man!
-
Time for gifts.
-
Jack decorated his package.
-
Molly was enjoying the evening.
-
Connor, Aiden and Luke
-
Whoo-hoo... caught them smooching!
-
We put together a photo album with notes from all of us and, of course, lots of pictures.

Mother made a delicious, moist chocolate cake with homemade icing. The little things on top of the cake are a basketball hoop and players. Dad enjoys most sports, but especially basketball. He still plays too... and is good.
-
I love you, Dad!

Warning:
-
11 month old Nathan McDonnell of Sheldon has recently been seen happily toddling around on his chubby baby legs.
-
Nathan is discovering that this new found freedom enables him to do a great deal more "exploring" than previous days. His abode is filled with all sorts of interesting spaces & places that he did not know existed, until this point of success.

Liz and Em recently played their instruments in a wedding. They did beautifully; Emily on the piano and Lizzie on the violin. Great job, girls!

Two of our lunches at Panera Bread
Anyone know why I was so glad to smile this day!?

Kaity took these pictures of a cart in the Mall. Who would try to stick a child in that small of a space?
Waiting for Mom, who was looking at just one more thing
before heading for home. On the way home.
