Do you see this young man? Hard to believe our Dad is 50, isn't it? The kids put up construction paper posters everywhere to announce the occasion and we enjoyed a celebration yesterday evening.

Mother made a delicious, moist chocolate cake with homemade icing. The little things on top of the cake are a basketball hoop and players. Dad enjoys most sports, but especially basketball. He still plays too... and is good.

Nice job on your wrapping paper decorations Jack - that was a nice idea.
The Basketball cake also looks neat. My Dad likes playing basketball espescially too. However, he was once playing in a Father-Son basketball game with his Dad (my Granddad) where one of the fathers had a heart attack and eventually died so it's probably good to be careful not to play too hard when your getting up around 50. :)
