Trip to Florida

God is truly marvelous in all His ways and so much better to me than I could ever deserve. He brings events, situations and people into my life in His perfect timing and in His perfect way.

Our family had the privilege of meeting Rick's tour group this year and in time, the Lord led Brent Gellos (Rick's tour leader) and me to begin corresponding, with the blessing of our parents.
-
Recently, I spent a few days in Florida, meeting Brent's family and getting to know them better. I was also able to spend some time with Rick, who was performing in the opera, The Pirates of Penzance.

And here is the terrifying pirate, himself! Isn't it great?!

- Brent, with two of the guys (Abran and Jacob) that were in his tour group this past summer.

- We went to Mobile, AL with some of his friends, and toured an old WW2 battleship. It was gigantic! I guess I never pictured them quite so big or with so many levels. Incredible and lots of fun.
