Over the river and through the woods...

I always love this time of year, when it's time to take a family vacation together. Often we go to Iowa for the Thanksgiving season. Such is the case this year... we're going to spend some time with Grandpa and Grandma. So, if there aren't any new posts for awhile, that's why.

Today, the suitcases are going to be flying and there will be a constant buzz of activity all day. Pray for travelling safety, if you think of us tomorrow.

We'll look forward to catching up with you all, when we come back. I'm sure we'll have LOTS of pictures to post, upon our return.

Until then, God bless!

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. It has not yet been utterly commercialized and remains a simple time for families to get together to share stories and thank God for all that He has given them.

Have a safe trip and a happy Thanksgiving!

Where at in Iowa do your grandparents live?

For somebody who's watching the presidential election, Iowa residents have an enviable advantage over Hoosiers. :-)

Hey, I came on the blog today to see Kaitlyn's surprise birthday pictures. :) Can you add those while you are in Iowa? I will say no more on this public domain.

I wish I was there with you! 19 children wouldn't be too many, would it? ;)
Love you all,
Aunt Liz
