Wow that's amazing...I guess the warmer temperatures we've been having lately turned all the snow and ice into water.
It is unbelievable how much it flooded by you guys. Now if only the temperature would drop you all would have an awesome ice rink!
Thanks for posting, it was neat to see.
Wow! We had that happen twice when we lived in TN. However, ours was a dry gully (the creek went underground right before our property) that would become a raging river (almost) :-)
We've got lots of water too. All the Newton County roads were closed yesterday. We had to do some of Grandpa's chores for him because he couldn't get through the water with his car.
Anybody gone swimming yet?
Wow!!!!! That's ALOT of water!! :)
We got quite a bit here too. There was ALOT of flooding in Valporaiso, we don't live there...but that is where Dad went soul-winning they barly got through!
Stepheny :)
Global warming at its best!
(I'm all for it)
Update: The flooding in nearby Watseka made national news and was declared a disaster area by the state and federal government. Hundreds had to leave their homes.
