Our "new" kitchen...
-
On Tuesday, our kitchen walls went from a dull peachy/tan to a sunny yellow! The paint job, combined with a fresh blue checkered curtain and a good all around scrubbing, gave us our "new" kitchen.
What a difference a little elbow grease and a can of paint will make!

Actually, she left out the best part -- this was my "mother's day" gift from the children because they knew I wanted to eventually paint the kitchen yellow.
It is so clean and nice now. We got the whole room in order because of it too. Amazing what paint and a LOT of work on their part did! What a thoughtful and much appreciated 'gift.' Perfect!
Thank you!

That's a great idea they had!!

By the way Jack, what are you doing in that last picture? Checking to see if the paint is dry? :D

Ya'll did a really good job - it's amazing what fresh paint will do to transform any room! It was also a great Mother's Day idea!

Looks good. Andrew and I painted our bedroom and it really made the room seem brand new even though all we did was paint! After having gone for several years with 4 active boys in it, our room sure needed it!
