Military Sunday...
v
Yes folks, this is the last week that I will be sharing the bathroom mirror with my sisters in order to do my Sunday morning makeup.
v
Back to the old routine, but who knows, the kids enjoyed it so much, maybe I will have a Bible character appear in class a few months from now, or maybe an astronaut..who knows? :o)
v
We had 60 3-4-5 yr. olds in one room!! Breaking records! whoohoo!
This little fellow could barely stand up with my helmet on his head...Yes...in the profound words of one of the girls on my bus......."you're ugly!"
This is the typical look you get when dressing up as someone else...

King Ahab was very angry and envious because he could not possess the vineyard next to the palace...

Oooh, real tough "army" canteens right there!
One of the many reasons why we continue to minister every Sunday...
Dad also teaches an afternoon class...

Time to go home!

Your Sunday school looks awesome! Where are the kids bussed from? (Bused?) Are they members of the church or do they just come in for Sunday school? Sorry for all the questions - I'm genuinely curious in this program! Seems like more churches could/should implement it! In any case, I love your blog - I just stumbled upon it!

-Random Christian blog happener-upon.

Hello Natalie,

So glad you could stop by our blog!

We always enjoy sharing and hearing from fellow Christians.

The "afternoon program" for lack of a better term, is when we pick up the intercity kids from Kankakee, Bradley and Bourbonnais.

We run three busses and typically fill them all pretty well, sometimes a little over full.

Mostly it is just the kids, but once in awhile, we will see a parent come along as well.

We just hope and pray that the message of salvation strikes home in every one of the kid's hearts that enter the church doors!

Hey, that's awesome! 60 3-4-5-year-olds in one classroom at one time. WOW, that's got to take patience and earplugs. Did you have your normal amount of workers, or did you have to call in the CSA[Child Security Assosiation?}[spell?]
Really though that's great. See ya tonight. p.s.- tell Kaity and Brent I said hi.
