Christmas Day at the McDonnell Household

After the endless waiting for Dad and Mom to give the word for the kids to come downstairs, we gather together and read Luke 2.  (We read Luke 1 on Christmas Eve)  Then we have the gift exchange, and let me tell you, it is a major operation when you have 17 people in the family! :o)

I thought this note that I got in a gift was pretty cute.  Mom said that next year, we need to just give out spelling and vocabulary books for presents! :o)

Brent and his pink BB gun!  Actually, Molly received the BB gun, and was so thrilled, that she got an older brother to shoot it with her that very afternoon!

A.J. is going to learn a musical instrument now that Mom and Dad bought him this very nice guitar.
